Largest CSP power plant built in So. Hemisphere now online & just in time for South Africa

A 100 MW concentrating solar power (CSP) plant using parabolic trough technology became operational in South Africa earlier this month. The R7.9-billion KaXu Solar One park is the largest built to date in the Southern Hemisphere and will help relieve some of pressure on Eskom’s supply constrained national grid. Read Press Article by Engineering News for more info.
